General information only
The content on texasesaletter.org — including pages about emotional support animals, psychiatric service dogs, housing rights, and related laws — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, is not a substitute for professional diagnosis or treatment, and does not create a clinician–patient relationship between you and texasesaletter.org.
Clinical services
Evaluations offered through this website are conducted by independent, licensed mental health professionals exercising their own professional judgment. A clinician–patient relationship exists only between you and the clinician who evaluates you, and only for the scope of that evaluation. Whether an ESA or PSD letter is issued is determined solely by the evaluating clinician.
Not emergency or ongoing care
Our services do not include emergency care, crisis intervention, ongoing therapy, medication management, or psychiatric treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or dial 911 immediately. For ongoing mental health care, please consult a treating provider in your community.
No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee that you will be approved for a letter, and we do not guarantee how any third party — including landlords, housing providers, airlines, or institutions — will respond to a letter. Legal information on this site is general in nature and is not legal advice; consult a qualified attorney for advice about your specific situation.
